Chapter 11-Wherein Katherine Crashes a Party and I Get "Diagnosed With a Multiple Personality Disorder" That I Call KDD PART ONE
okay first of all i'm REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY (x1000) sorry that i havent posted story in MONTHS, it's just i've been working on this movie with my dad, and this other story...well, anyways, i've got about 800 words on this chapter, so i hope you like it!!!
"Kieyra, Dear, could you please set the table?" Grandpa's sister, my Great Aunt Lisa, asked.
"Sure Aunt Lisa." I made my way over to the HUGE "banquet table",from which i spotted my mom and Nathen.
"Mom! Nate!" I ran over to hug them. They had been invited to come to the reunion, and afterwards they were taking me back home. The reunion was taking place at a high-end restaurant, and after that we were all heading to a rented ballroom for a fancy after-party. We were all required to wear "proper attire", which consisted of a suit and tie for guys and a dress/ fancy shirt and skirt for the girls. I was wearing a dark blue sleevless dress that was about knee-high. I hated it, but Grandma (who helped me pick it out) said i looked "lady-like" in it. I, on the other hand, never liked wearing dresses, nor did i look good in them. Nathen was not very impressed with the dress code either, considering the fact that he kept pulling at his tie, which was probably, like, SUPER itchy.
Already here was Grandma's side of the family (excluding Crazy Harriet, who was probably chatting up a storm with a nurse who couldn't care less) and most of my cousins. It wasn't all that great, though, 'cause all of my cousins hate me. Well, except Mike, but he doesn't exactly know what to think. He's six.
After everyone got there, we started eating the food. It was a potluck dinner, so the food there was mostly gross home made casseroles and meatless meatloaf (don't ask). I was finished my food and bored, so i decided to listen to Jasmine and Nadia's conversation. Jasmine and Nadia were two of my older cousins who had never talked to me, even when i was little. I used to hate them when i was younger because my cousin Alexa always loved to play with them more than me, and i guess that hatred sort of stuck after all these years.
"If the meatloaf's meatless, then what's in it?" Nadia asked Jasmine, slowly taking seconds of the "meat"loaf. Jasmine shrugged.
"Probably tofu or something."
"Better to know now than later." I spoke in a voice that was not my own. i didn't even know what i was saying-it was like some other power was controlling my words and thoughts. Nadia and Jasmine looked at me strangely.
"Just saying." Why was i even talking? Even I, of all people had some sort of filter.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Jasmine asked.
"You're a smart girl, you figure it out." Nadia turned to the adults side of the table.
"Um, Aunt Janette, Kieyra's acting up again." she said.
"Who are you calling acting up, teen angst?"
"Hey, don't push it! I'm older than you!"
"Hmm but quite obviously not smarter." Jasmine scoffed.
"How dare you insult my sister!" My mom heard our quasi-argument and ran over.
"Kieyra, what did i say about respecting your cousins!"
"Who's Kieyra?" WHAT??? I'M KIEYRA! What was i saying?!?!?!
"Okay, who are you then?"
"Katherine." Was that it? Was she controlling me? No. She wouldn't do that. Would she?
"Kieyra, snap out of it." she said, a little calmer than before. I turned to Jasmine, involuntarily, i might add.
"Who is this woman?"
"...your mother!" Jasmine said, a little freaked out.
"I KNOW THAT!!!!" I finally had control back.
"What was that?" I asked.
"I don't know, honey, you tell me!"
"I don't know, i just...I don't know why I said all that, it wasn't me. It was like something was controlling me." i explained, hoping she wouldn't think i was crazy.
"You remember what happened?" i narrowed my eyes in confusion.
"Of course i do. Why wouldn't i?"
"You used to do this when you were little, but you never remembered it after that. You haven't done it since you were seven."

Just Another Vampire Movie
Okay, well, I'm making a movie with my dad...here's the plot!!!
It's 1857, and fifteen year old Ralph Cortez has just been orphaned and left into the care of Giusseppe Verdi, quickly falling for his daughter Kathi Verdi. What Ralph doesn't know is that Kathi is a vampire cursed to never leave her home. After failed attempts to break the curse, resulting in the destruction of the Verdi estate, Ralph believes Kathi is dead and proceeds on with is life.
In the beginning of the second act, we are back in present day Canada, and 13 year old Abbie Moretz is being forced to spend the winter holidays in a town called Misty Lake. What she doesn't know is that her family's cottage was built on the Verdi Estate...where Kathi Verdi still resides. She soon learns that she is part of a curse-reversal as told in a "witch cookbook" and is forced to work with Kathi to reverse the curse, except for one problem...in order for the curse to be lifted, Abbie must die.
It's actually quite interesting.
Xoxo!

Wise Words From Kira.
When you were three, and your parents asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up, you said "Princess", "Astronaut", "Fireman", or "Ballerina". Then, when you were ten, they asked you the same question. your responses became more practical, "Doctor", "Lawyer", "Teacher", or in my case, "Either a Geologist or a TV writer." Then, when you were 13 or 14, you were forced to choose either "College, University, or Workplace", and out of fear, you chose either "College" or "University". Then you got to thinking, "What am I good at? What am I passionate about?" If you were too scared to admit your true passions to yourself, you figured they weren't worth pursuing and decided to give up. You would be what you were good at, not what you wanted to be. Then you suddenly grew up and graduated high school and went to college and lived your whole life happily, but you were never fully happy, you never felt fulfilled. Then you got older, and older, and older, and you were retired and alone and you wondered, "Why didn't i do that when i was in high school", and you read about your old dreams and wish that you had just a little more passion, a little more faith in yourself.
Statistics may show that only 99% of people in the world aren't famous, but don't let that stop kids from living their dreams and trying to get where they want to be.
IN A NUTSHELL, Parents, don't let your kids give up on their dreams and LISTEN for once. We have a lot to say, trust me.
